Alternate Nostril Breathing Technique

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a super special breathing technique I have been adding to my daily practice. Alternate nostril breathing is a technique that provides many great benefits to our mind, body, and spirit! It can calm our heart, our nerves, and guide us into the present. Alternate nostril breathing is great for those who suffer from anxiety and depression, and also gives us a moment to ourselves. It harmonizes the hemispheres in our brain, creating a place for our prana (life force) to enter. With daily practice, this technique trains our body to take in deep breaths, extending our lung capacity and overall well being.
I do this practice for 5 minutes in the morning before meditation and for 5 minutes before sleep. I have found great benefits by adding this practice to my life and I hope it does the same for you!
