Hemp Protein Smoothie

Happy Monday! My favorite time of year is here! It’s smoothie season! Smoothies are a great way to add holistic benefits into our lives. They help us mind, body, and soul πŸ™‚

I will be posting some of my favorite smoothie recipes all Spring and Summer!

Today’s smoothie is made with hemp protein. Hemp is a great way to get plant based protein, and I’ve seen so many benefits of adding it to my diet. Not only does it provide natural energy, but it benefits the immune system! It can also have many benefits for our hair, skin, and nails πŸ™‚ I can vouch for this absolutely! I feel sustained when I drink my hemp smoothies in the late mornings, as it gives me the boost to get work done until the afternoon πŸ™‚

I hope you enjoy the recipe, feel inspired to give it a try and enjoy all the benefits!

To make you will need:

1/2 banana, peeled

1/2 cup strawberries

1/4 cup blackberries

1/4 cup blueberries

1/2 cup unsweetened cashew milk (or any other non-dairy milk)

1/2 cup pure carrot juice

3 TBSP hemp protein (or any other plant based protein)

Juice of half lime

In blender, add all ingredients along with a few ice cubes.

Blend and serve!


Feel free to top with hemp seeds for some added protein πŸ™‚
