Bulletproof Coffee

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Bulletproof products and all the wonderful benefits they have brought to my life and health.

After posting my blog on XCT oil and Ghee, I figured it would be great to finally show you my morning coffee routine and how it effects me throughout the day 🙂

I used to make this drink with regular coffee but switching to Bulletproof has definitely added to the benefits I feel. Bulletproof’s coffee beans are grown at a high elevation and processed to reduce toxins and mold that many coffees are left with. This is the highest quality of coffee for your body, and I really do believe it’s worth it!

I have a ton of energy throughout the day without that major crash.  I am able to intermittent fast comfortably and the brain fog I get from my vasculitis has cleared!  About 5 days out of the week, I fast with the 16/8 method. This is where I leave an 8 hour window to eat and fast for 16 hours. With all of the benefits of fasting, it is still important I am consuming fats and ways for my body to create energy. This is where my Bulletproof routine comes in.  I am full until a late lunch and I have noticed recently that I am incredibly productive until then 🙂 These are the benefits of the two together.  For anyone interested in weight loss, boosting the metabolism, intermittent fasting (great for inflammation and many autoimmune diseases), or just to feel better, I recommend bulletproof. To make this simple blended coffee drink, you will need a few things:

Bulletproof Coffee (I am currently enjoying the dark roast)

Grass Fed Ghee (Check out my blog on this healthy fat in a recent blog I posted!)

Much like the Bulletproof XCT Oil, Brain Octane gives you a quicker brain boost. I find either to work incredibly well 🙂

To a blender, add:

1/4 cup of cold unsweetened coconut milk

1 TBSP Grass Fed Ghee

1 TBSP Bulletproof Brain Octane (or XCT) Oil

12-16oz of fresh brewed Bulletproof coffee

Blend for 30 seconds, and enjoy your magical morning 🙂
